The pieces below come to me as a gift, flowing through me with words and stories attached. Sometimes, I have later found references to the images that I have been given, along with the original story or symbolic reference. I love receiving these pieces, and following them as if on a treasure hunt. Many are expressions of the Native American struggle to hold on to their spiritual connection to nature, in the midst of the influence of Christianity. I have been working with these images for many years, and am always grateful to be able to tell these stories through my art.
